The Beretta Model 951, also known as the Brigadier, was Italy's first 9mm Parabellum service pistol, replacing the .380 Model 34 in Italian military service. It uses a Walther P38-type locking block and was adopted by Egypt, Israel, and Iraq in addition to Italy. The Israeli version was manufactured domestically under license as the Jericho.
