The Beretta Model 1934 was the standard Italian military sidearm through WWII, chambered in 9mm Corto (.380 ACP). An open-top slide design allowed for easy observation of the chamber and minimized stovepipe jams. Simple, reliable, and well-made, the M1934 served Italian Army, Navy, and Air Force officers extensively.
