The Browning Citori has been the dominant American over/under shotgun for competition and hunting since its introduction. Produced by Miroku in Japan under Browning's specifications, the Citori offers European-quality over/under mechanics at a significantly lower price than comparable Belgian or Italian guns. The receiver's back-bored barrels and Invector-Plus choke system became industry standards. Used extensively in skeet, trap, and sporting clays competition at all levels. The 725 series (2012) introduced a lower receiver profile reducing felt recoil.
