The Bushmaster M17S was an American-made bullpup semi-automatic rifle using a conventional AR-15 trigger group relocated forward of the magazine well in a fiberglass bullpup chassis. It used standard AR-15 BCG and barrel components with a non-standard gas system and feeding arrangement. The M17S was one of the few American-designed and manufactured bullpups to see commercial production. Discontinued in the early 2000s.
