The Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless is one of the most elegant and successful American pocket pistols ever made. Designed by John Browning, it features a concealed hammer (not truly hammerless, but with the hammer enclosed within the slide), a grip safety, and a manual thumb safety. Chambered in .32 ACP, it was carried by US Army general officers as a personal sidearm through WWII and remained in production for 42 years. General Dwight Eisenhower carried one.
