The CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow in .40 S&W adapts the factory competition-tuned SP-01 Shadow to the .40 S&W cartridge. Less common than the 9mm Shadow but used in IPSC Standard division where some power factor rules favored .40 S&W. The factory action job, competition hammer, and SP-01 rail frame are retained. The heavier .40 recoil is managed by the all-steel construction.
