The CZ 52, officially designated vz. 52, was the standard Czechoslovak military sidearm chambered in 7.62x25mm Tokarev, used alongside the vz. 52 rifle. It features an unusual roller-locked operating system — the same principle used in the CETME and later the HK G3 series — applied to a pistol. The high-velocity Tokarev cartridge produces excellent penetration.
