The Sa vz. 58 is the standard Czechoslovak service rifle that replaced the Soviet SKS and served alongside Warsaw Pact forces, but despite outward visual similarities to the AK-47 it is an entirely different design. The vz. 58 uses a tilting bolt rather than a rotating bolt and has no parts interchange with the AK series. Lighter and considered by many users to have a better trigger than the AK.
