The long-barreled (8-inch) variant of the P08, issued to German artillery crews and stormtroopers as a compact substitute for a carbine. Fitted with an adjustable rear sight graduated to 800m and a detachable shoulder stock/holster. The 32-round "snail drum" magazine (Trommelmagazin) made it the highest-capacity pistol of WWI. The shoulder stock and drum magazine transformed it into a semi-auto carbine.
