The FN Model 1910 is one of John Browning's most elegant designs — a compact blowback pistol chambered in 7.65mm (.32 ACP) or 9mm Kurz (.380 ACP). It gained historical notoriety as the pistol used by Gavrilo Princip to assassinate Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo on June 28, 1914, triggering WWI. The specific pistol (serial number 19074) is preserved at the Vienna Military History Museum. Despite this grim distinction, the Model 1910 was a well-made commercial pistol widely adopted by European police.
