The Hammerli 208 is the definitive 20th-century Olympic target pistol. Chambered in .22 LR and built for the ISSF 25m Standard Pistol and 50m Precision Pistol events, the 208 features a fully adjustable match trigger, anatomical grip, and target-weight barrel. Swiss-made to tolerances that were extraordinary for the era. Dominated world-class competition from the late 1960s through the 1990s. The 208S variant added a muzzle weight system. Replaced by the SP20 in production but remains the most collected Hammerli model.
