The MP5/10 is a variant of the MP5 platform chambered in 10mm Auto, developed following FBI adoption of the 10mm cartridge after the 1986 Miami Shootout. It required significant internal modifications to handle the higher-pressure 10mm round. The FBI purchased MP5/10 guns but later transitioned away from 10mm.
