The HK94 is the semi-automatic 16-inch-barrel carbine version of the MP5 submachine gun, the only factory-legal MP5 variant that could be imported to the US during its production era. The roller-delayed blowback mechanism and MP5 manual of arms are identical to the submachine gun. Imported until 1989.
