The Heckler & Koch PSG-1 (Präzisionsschützengewehr 1) is an ultra-precision semi-automatic sniper rifle developed for the German GSG-9 counter-terrorism unit following the lessons of the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre. It features a heavy fluted barrel, a fully adjustable stock, a select-trigger group with adjustable shoe width, and a roller-delayed blowback operating system. The PSG-1 was the most accurate factory semi-automatic rifle available when introduced and set the standard for law enforcement precision rifles for two decades.
