The Galil ARM is the full-size assault rifle variant of the Israeli Galil family, designed based on lessons from the 1967 Six-Day War where IDF soldiers often preferred captured AK-47s over their own FN FAL rifles. Using AK operating principles with a Finnish RK 62 influence, it added features for desert and harsh-environment service. The ARM includes a bipod and carry handle.
