The Tavor X95 is the next-generation Israeli service bullpup, updating the SAR with a modular trigger group, shorter overall length at 26 inches, true ambidextrous controls, and compatibility with both AR-style STANAG magazines and optional 9mm pistol-caliber conversions. The X95 reduces the SAR's trigger pull weight and improves the trigger mechanism design. Currently the standard issue rifle of the Israel Defense Forces.
