The Uzi Pistol is the semi-automatic pistol configuration of the classic Uzi submachine gun, imported to the US civilian market with a pistol grip but no stock, qualifying as a pistol under ATF definitions. The blowback operation and wire folding charging handle are unchanged from the submachine gun. Imported before the 1989 import ban made the original configuration unavailable.
