The Stechkin APS is a select-fire machine pistol chambered in 9x18mm Makarov, issued to Soviet vehicle crews, artillery teams, and special forces as a compact automatic weapon. It came with a wooden shoulder stock that doubled as a holster. Capable of cyclic rates around 750 rounds per minute, it proved difficult to control in full-auto and was eventually phased out of widespread service.
