The Czechoslovak vz. 24 was a Mauser-pattern bolt-action rifle produced at the Brno factory for the Czechoslovak Army. One of the finest military Mausers made, it combined the short Karabiner 98k-length action with the long Gewehr 98-length barrel in a particularly well-finished package. After Germany occupied Czechoslovakia in 1939, vz. 24 production continued for the Wehrmacht. Romanian, Chinese, and other export contracts were also fulfilled.
