The Parker VH (Vulcanite grade H) is the entry-level configuration of Parker Brothers' legendary Meriden, Connecticut side-by-sides. The VH designation indicates the lowest grade in Parker's letter system, but even VH guns were built to higher standards than most competitors' premium models. The 28-inch 12-gauge configuration was among the most common. Parkers are considered the quintessential American shotgun by collectors worldwide.
