The PTR 91 GI is PTR Industries' entry-level HK91/G3-pattern roller-delayed blowback semi-automatic rifle. PTR was founded by former J&R Engineering employees and manufactures HK91-specification rifles using surplus HK tooling. The GI model uses a standard-profile 18-inch barrel, polymer furniture, and accepts G3/HK91 pattern magazines. PTR manufactures in Connecticut using Swiss-origin tooling that produced original HK rifles.
