The PTR 9CSR is the stainless-receiver variant of the PTR 9C carbine, applying PTR's roller-delayed MP5 clone mechanism in a corrosion-resistant stainless finish. The 16-inch barrel and MP5 manual of arms are unchanged from the standard 9C. The stainless finish is preferred for coastal and humid-climate storage where conventional steel receivers require more frequent maintenance.
