The Rock Island Armory VR60 is the predecessor to the VR80, sharing the AR-style layout and proprietary box magazine system. The VR60 uses a fixed AR-style collapsible stock rather than the VR80's side-folding stock variant. Like the VR80 it accepts AR-15 pistol grips.
