The Speed-Six was the round-butt, fixed-sight variant of the Security-Six intended for plainclothes and off-duty carry. It shared the same internal mechanism as the Security-Six but used a rounded grip frame and fixed sights for a snag-free draw. Produced from 1974 to 1988, the Speed-Six was widely used by plainclothes detectives and as a backup weapon. Discontinued when the GP100 family replaced the entire Security-Six line.
