The SIG MCX is a modular semi-automatic rifle that uses a short-stroke gas piston system in an AR-15 external form factor. Developed in response to US SOCOM requirements for a suppressor-optimized rifle, it features a folding stock, fully ambidextrous controls, and a cold-hammer-forged barrel. The MCX was evaluated by the French Army and has been widely adopted by US special operations forces.
