The Model 58 was the fixed-sight .41 Magnum N-frame companion to the adjustable-sight Model 57, intended for law enforcement duty carry where fixed sights were preferred. The 4-inch barrel is the only standard configuration. The Model 58 was designed around the reduced-velocity .41 Magnum police load, though it handles full-power hunting loads equally well.
