The Model 610 is an N-frame S&W revolver chambered for the 10mm Auto cartridge using full-moon clips to headspace the rimless case. The full-moon clips also allow .40 S&W to be used in the same cylinder — sharing the .40 S&W's case head diameter. This gives the shooter access to two of the most powerful semi-automatic pistol cartridges in a reliable revolver platform. The 4-inch barrel is the primary configuration.
