The Smith & Wesson Victory Model was a wartime version of the K-frame revolver produced for the US military, British and Commonwealth forces, and other Allied nations during WWII. Simplified from the commercial Model 10 with a sand-blasted matte finish and simplified lockwork, over 1.1 million were produced. US Navy Victory Models are chambered in .38 Special; British Lend-Lease models are chambered in .38 S&W (a different, non-interchangeable cartridge).
