The STI Edge in 9mm is a purpose-built IPSC Limited and Open division competition pistol. Like the Eagle, it uses the STI 2011 modular frame but with a longer 5.0-inch ramped bull barrel, flat mainspring housing, and an adjustable trigger with very short overtravel. The Edge was positioned as a step above the Eagle in the STI product hierarchy, with tighter frame-to-slide fit and improved factory trigger.
