The Taurus 92 is a full-size 9mm pistol built from tooling and design rights acquired from Beretta when they ended a Brazilian manufacturing license. It is mechanically similar to the Beretta 92 but features a frame-mounted safety/decocker rather than the slide-mounted control, which many shooters prefer. Magazines are largely interchangeable with the Beretta 92.
