The Westley Richards "Ovundo" is the trade name for the company's over-and-under shotgun, introduced in 1913 — four years after Boss & Co's O/U patent. The Ovundo Droplock O/U carries the hand-detachable lock system into the over-and-under configuration, resulting in the world's only O/U shotgun with field-removable locks as standard. The Ovundo name is derived from the Latin terms for "above" and "below." These guns were produced in limited numbers before and after the World Wars.
