The Springfield Armory M6 Scout is a break-action survival rifle with an over-under configuration — an upper barrel in .22 LR and a lower barrel in .410 bore. Based on the US Air Force M6 Aircrew Survival Weapon (chambered in .22 Hornet/.410), the commercial M6 Scout was intended for survival use and backpackers. The folding stock allows compact storage.
