The Tisas Zenith Z-5RS is the SBR-format 8.86-inch barreled MP5 clone, the standard submachine gun barrel length configuration of the HK MP5 design adapted for civilian NFA short-barreled rifle registration. It uses the HK roller-delayed blowback operating system under license and accepts standard MP5 magazines and parts. The Z-5RS is the most direct civilian equivalent to the military MP5A3 configuration.
