About this powder
IMR 4895 is one of the most storied powders in American rifle shooting, derived from WWII military ball propellant. Still excellent in .308 Win, .30-06, .243 Win, and .270 Win at standard velocities. Nearly identical to Hodgdon H4895 with the same burn rate position — they are nearly interchangeable with minor charge adjustment.
