American suppressor manufacturer founded by Kevin Brittingham in Atlanta, Georgia in 1994. AAC effectively legitimized and popularized civilian suppressor ownership through products like the M4-2000 and 762-SDN-6, and through Brittingham's aggressive marketing of the suppressor lifestyle. Acquired by Remington's Freedom Group in 2010; Brittingham departed in 2011. Acquired by SIG Sauer in 2021 and now operates as SIG's suppressor division.
