French manufacturer of high-quality double rifles and combination guns based in Saint-Bonnet-le-Château, Loire, founded in 1938. The Chapuis RGEX Express double rifle is used by French professional hunters in Africa and is respected in European and African dangerous game circles. Produces over/under and side-by-side shotguns alongside its double rifle line. Less known in the US than British makers but significant in France, Belgium, and Francophone Africa.
