French precision manufacturer founded in Mulhouse, Alsace in 1952. Produces the MR73 revolver — widely considered the finest production revolver ever made and the standard sidearm of France's GIGN counter-terrorism unit since its founding in 1974. The MR73 is built to tighter tolerances than any other production revolver, with a double-action trigger pull of extraordinary smoothness. Also produced Walther PP/PPK pistols under license during the 1950s–80s.

Also recorded as Manufacture de Machines du Haut-Rhin, MR73.
