Russian state-linked arms manufacturer based in Vyatskie Polyany, Kirov Oblast. Produced the Vepr series of AK-pattern sporting rifles and the Vepr-12 semi-automatic shotgun. Before US import sanctions (2014 and 2022), Vepr rifles were widely considered the highest-quality Russian AK available to American buyers — built on heavier RPK-pattern milled receivers with tighter tolerances than standard Kalashnikov Concern production. The Vepr-12 semi-automatic shotgun became a staple of American 3-Gun competition before sanctions effectively ended import. US sanctions imposed in 2014 and expanded in 2022 prohibit importation of Molot firearms.

Also recorded as Molot, Molot Oruzhie, VPMZ Molot, Vepr, Molot Arms, FGUP Molot, Vyatskiye Polyany Machine Building Plant.
