PTR Industries is an American manufacturer of HK91/G3-pattern semi-automatic rifles, originally founded as JLD Enterprises in Connecticut before relocating to South Carolina. PTR purchased original HK tooling and machinery from Portugal, enabling them to produce rifles to CETME/G3 specifications rather than licensed copies. Their PTR 91 series is widely regarded as the closest American-made equivalent to an original HK91. Also produces the PTR 32 in 7.62x39mm.
