Smith Enterprise Inc. (SEI) is an American small-batch custom rifle manufacturer founded in 1989 in Tempe, Arizona by Ron Smith. SEI specializes in M14/M1A-pattern semi-automatic rifles — accurizing, upgrading, and building complete rifles on US Rifle M14 actions. Their Mk 14 Mod 0-pattern Crazy Horse and M21 Sniper Counterpart are among the highest-quality M14-pattern semi-autos available. SEI also produces the Vortex flash hider/suppressor mount, which became standard on US Army designated marksman rifles. Very small production volumes.
