Texas-based manufacturer of premium 2011-pattern pistols, rebranded from STI International in 2020. STI was founded in 1993 by Virgil Tripp and others, using the 2011 double-stack frame design developed by Strayer Voigt Inc. (SVI), a separate but closely related entity. The Staccato brand consolidated the STI commercial identity while SVI continued custom-level builds. Staccato pistols are used by military, law enforcement, and competitive shooters.
