Voere is an Austrian rifle manufacturer founded in 1948 in Kufstein, Tyrol. Voere produces bolt-action sporting and hunting rifles sold primarily in the German-speaking European market. Their M2185 caseless ammunition experimental rifle was a notable Cold War-era development — a rifle designed to fire ammunition with no brass cartridge case, using an electrically-ignited propellant block. The caseless project was abandoned but demonstrated advanced engineering capability. Current Voere rifles are conventional bolt-actions.
