Overview

German pistol manufacturer with roots to 1886. Owner of the PP, PPK, P99, PDP, and PPQ series. The American market is served by Walther Arms, Inc. (Fort Smith, AR), a wholly-owned US subsidiary established ~2012. Prior to that, Smith & Wesson served as the US importer from 1999–2012. Internationally, Walther is owned by PW Group (the Umarex parent), but the Walther brand and firearms division operate as a distinct entity.
