History: Developed by John Lazzeroni in the mid-1990s alongside the full Lazzeroni cartridge line, the Spitfire shares the proprietary Lazzeroni case with the Firebird and Warbird but is necked to .243 caliber. All Lazzeroni cartridges are manufactured exclusively by Lazzeroni Arms Company of Tucson, Arizona, and brass is not interchangeable with any SAAMI-standardized cartridge.
