History
Switzerland's second revolver cartridge, adopted in 1882 for the Schmidt-Galand revolver, replaced an earlier system. Fires a small-caliber lead bullet at very modest velocity. Swiss military officers carried this revolver until replaced by semi-automatic pistols in the early 20th century.
