Beretta Model 1915 7.65mm
The Beretta Model 1915 was the first Beretta semi-automatic pistol and the company's first military contract, adopted by the Italian Army as an officer's sidearm during WWI. Chambered in 7.65mm Browning (.32 ACP), it established Beretta as a military pistol manufacturer. The open-top slide design — a Beretta trademark — first appeared on this model and has been a Beretta visual signature ever since, carried through the M1934 and M9.
