Norinco 56S 7.62x39mm
The Norinco 56S is the thumbhole-stocked import variant of the Type 56 AK, configured with a fixed thumbhole stock for US import compliance. Sold through various importers as the 56S-1 and 56S-2. Mechanically identical to the Type 56 internally.
