Norinco Type 56 7.62x39mm
The Norinco Type 56 is the Chinese-produced variant of the Soviet AKM, chambered in 7.62x39mm. Norinco exported large quantities of Type 56 rifles to the US civilian market in the 1980s and early 1990s before import restrictions.
