Ruger Single-Six .22 LR 4.75-inch
The Ruger Single-Six is a single-action .22 LR revolver that began production in 1953 and remains in production today with minimal changes. It is styled after the Colt Single Action Army in its control layout but built to modern engineering standards. The 4.75-inch barrel is the classic cavalry-length configuration. The New Model Single-Six, introduced in 1973, added the transfer bar safety, making it safe to carry with all six chambers loaded.
