SIG Sauer SIG P227 .45 ACP
The P227 filled the gap between the P220's single-stack .45 ACP and the P226's 9mm double-stack by offering a full-size double-stack .45 ACP with 10+1 capacity. Built on a slightly wider frame than the P226, the P227 used a new double-stack .45 ACP magazine and was available in Nitron, SAS, and Carry configurations. Discontinued after relatively brief production, the P227 remains a niche collector piece for SIG enthusiasts.
